I am just sitting here at my computer and thinking about how I am different than most agents and brokers in my local area. I can't help but feel very good about this and think about how thankful I am to be able to weather any market because of being able to keep busy by consistently doing BPO's.
I do things differently than most real estate professionals. I have decided about 1 1/4 years ago to do broker price opinion's full-time and real estate sales part-time. I consider my BPO work to be my bread and butter and my sales commissions as a BONUS. I do not have to rely on tradional real estate sales to pay my bills and was wondering how many of you do this as well!
Just to give you an idea of how many orders I do within a typical month, I'd have to say that I do around 50-60 BPO's, with an average order bringing in around $50.00 dollars. Plus, I have 2 assistants to help me with my orders and find that this set-up works beautifully!
If you do BPO's full time how many do you do within one month? Do you have an assistant to help you with your data entry or photos?
In closing, one of the coolest parts of being different than most in our industry is that I enjoy having a huge lead on knowing the different properties that are going to come on the market as REO's. This has brought me to a place of being able to specialize in working with buyer's who are looking for investment/foreclosed properties.
I am able to offset working with buyer's and doing regular real estate sales transactions with doing as much BPO work as I want. Who could ask for more?
