If you don't believe in it, or believe in yourself and all that you are trying to do, how can you possibly convince other potential business partner to believe in your home business. You've got to belief. You have to have determination and you've got courage, now all you need is at least a little of conviction. The perfect scenario in business is, that you want someone else to buy into your dreams. (Note I didn't say buy you product or business opportunity) That is what you should try to do- convince somebody they want what you have to sell. They might don't need it, but that is an entirely different matter. People buy what they want, not what they need.

Just recently I went out with one of my friends and he is a bargain hunter, (Aren't we all). This guy waits every year eagerly for sales to come around and he loves especially the big name label brands like Hugo boss, Ralph Lauren, you get the picture. We met in town and went to one of his favourite shops, where they where selling leader stuff for a big discount. He spotted a jacket and fall in love with it. I watched him jumping for joy and confessed that while he didn't need it, he so much wanted it. Even the staff in the shop waited a lifetime for him to make the decision. Well in the end he bought at and when we came back out, it was hammering down with rain. He decided not to war it while it was raining and it could get wet. By the way, the jacket was rain proofed overcoat that he just bought.

As we made our way back home, doubt began to creep in. Was it he right decision? Could he afford it and so on. Then he almost talked himself out of it and wanted to take the jacket back to the shop. It was left to me to point out to him that he had all but destroyed the pleasure of the purchase he had made. Instead of being delighted to have a coat like it, he was riddled with doubt about the sense of his purchase. He had totally lost conviction in what he had done.

Ever done that yourself? Bought something and then wished you hadn't. We all have! But the point I am making is that in business or home business, if you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you must move forward with total conviction. There isn't much room for doubt and wavering. You have done the research. You have modelled and remodelled you decisions and re-evaluated the pathway that led you act in the way you are going to. Don't let courage fail you now. Keep the strength of convictions. Dismiss people who are jealous and will encourage you to have doubts and set the whispers in your head. You must have the conviction to carry it through.

After all, if you don't believe in it, how can you expect others to? Sure there is a possibility you will fail. There is always is and in life nothing is ever certain except, as the old line tells us- death and taxes and I believe, uncertainty. The important thing is that whatever it is, you see it through and hold fast to your beliefs and convictions. Failure isn't the problem. On it's on, it never is- it's how you deal with it that matters. Hey if business was easy, everybody would be doing it. Look around you. They are not. Doesn't that tell you something? You must stick to your conviction, but be ready to abandon your assumptions.
