Has it ever occurred to you that there a large amount of articles, ezines, and adverts that talk about making money online? Sometimes when you read them do you believe that you wish it could be you that was making this money or do you find the writings are too farfetched!!
At times I felt like this but the reality is, aside from all the lies and scams out there, there actually is a large amount of people making large amounts of money...very large.

It is very easy to say that ALL the money making opportunities on the internet are scams or unethical when this is not the case. It took me a very long time to find the right opportunity. This meant starting other opportunities which didn't quite work out until you come to one that does. However, it came at a price. I had spent thousands in other pursuits. This is not to say that they were fruitless, they were very fruitful and i leant more and more on each project. You like me, will need to find the right opportunity for you.

Finding the right one means that you must do your due diligence and this means to research the company you intend to invest your hard earned money with. Secondly you must find a good mentor within that organization to teach you the ropes and strategies that will help you make sales and turn you into a person that can then go off and teach others. As adults we are twice a child, as the saying goes. We are therefore always learning and adopting new ideas. I am still learning and look to learn something new every day. Why else do we live? Internet Marketing is not hard but it is not easy either. You will always see people advertising about a fully automated system. This can only happen once you have put in the hard work and got the systems up and running....then and only then can it be fully automated, but you will still need to put in a bit of work...however a lot less. Remember, the hard work must be put in whether it be 2-4 hours out of your life a day (really what is 2-4 hrs to make a living).

I was not really into to this hype of Internet Marketing as I was a Network Marketer (there is a difference) and I must admit I used to get the two mixed up. Had I leant about internet marketing I am sure that my income level as a network marketer would have tripled. You know the saying, "the teacher will appear when the student is ready". Well I have been a student for a number of years and my teachers have arrived in the form of a business opportunity, which was a no brainer for me to get involved with as it was a natural progression.

What really kicked it off for me was a friend of mine who was a pizza delivery person, who had his back against the wall and had to find a way of making money. He came across internet marketing and made £30,000 in three months, selling products that he knew nothing about, had no interest, but sold them as there was a market. O! A niche is a market that people want. It could be selling a particular type of watch or car that people are overly interested in.

This prompted me to go on one of his courses where I paid about £1000 to learn how he did this as well as a lot more valuable information from him. Was the money well spent? Yes, yes, yes...because it opened other avenues and opportunities for me and this is where I am at today.

I continued to do my research and subscribed to many internet marketers websites, not for their products but for the wealth of information that they had to offer, the products they had to offer, how they communicated with people, how they sent out their emails etc..etc..etc...They became my online mentors; this was the learning curve for me to say the least.

This is the type of research that you need to do as it does not take a "Special" kind of person to become successful in internet marketing, it takes the kind of person that is prepared to try things, maybe fail, get up and try again. It does not happen overnight, even though with this type of business it actually can.

Autopilot

Do not believe the hype about things being totally on auto pilot. I thought this when I started network marketing and when my friend, mentioned internet marketing to me. No, there is no thing as autopilot when you start. Once your business is up and running, then yes, you will have automation, but you need to put the work the work in and put things into motion. This thankfully is what I learnt when I started my network marketing business. It was a struggle and very hard work, walking, talking and leafleting..

I have met some real bullies in the network marketing industry it was only by the grace of god, that my character was stronger than a lot of them and our personalities clashed as I was not prepared to cheat people into buying products.
