The much awaited season two of Heroes will start airing on September 24, and right now is a good time for NBC to start the pre-season hype. Just like before, the cast have become spokespersons for the show, and they've been quite generous in giving out some hints and clues as to what the new season will bring.

Season 2 of Heroes brings us four months into the future, thus new viewers will be insulated from the past and it will be easier for them to join the show midstream.

Hardcore viewers and fans who have been watching the show since day one will find that by episode eight, the gaps will be filled in by a flashback that show what has transpired in the four months that have passed. Meanwhile, Hiro (Masi Oka) is expected to reunite with his side kick Ando (James Kyson Lee) and together go on another adventure.

The undead Sylar (Zachary Quinto) will reemerge as a different man, contrary to his former power-hungry and psychologically unstable ways.

"The point at which we left the story in season 1, and the point at which we begin in season 2 are vastly different for my character," Quinto said in a conversation with CNN.

Several new characters were reported to appear on the new season, and the producers of the show admitted that they see an end to some of season 1's characters.

"This is not a show about stars," Loeb told CNN. "This is a show about the show. Everyone has the same conversation when they come on. Wherever the story takes the writers and takes Tim is what serves that task."

These aren't the only changes that are to transpire on the new season of Heroes. Fans tune in on September 24 for the premiere of Heroes' season 2.
