I am very impressed with this series. It very expensive, but I got about 50% of its MSRP. I would not have spent MSRP on it, but that has more to do with a cap as I spend on a single electronic device rather than the quality of the series. Definitely worth than many other LED TV's out there.

The style and depth of the panel make it shine above the competition and after calibration of the set really shines.

If you play games, you use the game modes such as image processing adds a delay of 45ns the picture over the audio. This can be optimized with an AVR receiver, but if you're playing a game that required precise movement you will notice the delay. However, the gameplay all that great and still works great.

It would be nice if there were more LEDs areas, but the set still performs great. I can not find the glossy screen is a problem at all ... if anything I prefer and this is coming from someone who swears by opaque screens with respect to computer monitors. The glossy screen helps to deepen the blacks and really makes the color pop. This is a mirror when the power is off or a black screen appears but the brightness of the backlight is sufficient to wash away my setup during the average day.

Finally, I find the TV works best during the day or with lights on. When I closed all the lights, blacks lose some 'of their absolute black and I can see some spill-over areas LEDs. This can be corrected by changing some settings for night vision. I read that in the maintenance menu you can turn day / night modes, but I do not feel comfortable changing settings and possibly cancel my warranty even two months out of the box.

The online features are mostly misleading .. but then again I bought this set for no image quality widgets. The network connectivity is great. Streaming Media works fine but if you have a video source with subtitles subtitles will not be made safe through the video (not so common these days). The ability to perform firmware updates is a huge advantage.

All in all the positives far out weight the negatives. This is a great set if it falls within the budget.
