The HDTV UN55B8000 is a unit of very high quality and image, even in standard definition is excellent. I am a bit 'worried after reading the owner's manual that the whole is more susceptible to burn pictures than I expected, there is nothing in the sales literature in this regard.

The risk increases greatly with viewing fixed images such as pictures without a presentation, even if you have the image expanded to full screen, or if you have Internet content such as stock prices are static content. This was not the fault of Amazon, and when they are gone, their team found the large unit set and postage reimbursement, even if it was free delivery. excellent customer service from them, but if you live in a remote / rural area and be prepared for any eventuality.

I would say that built-in speakers are fine for what I am, I saw previous reviews that said that as a concern, but the sound quality was acceptable. I still am going to use surround sound system, but if I had a separate system speakers, I could live without it.

On a final note, the manual is very well written and understandable, and is going to be a little 'time-consuming to optimize the system for the particular situation is not so difficult to do. In general, I can safely say, without regret [date] for the purchase.
