The outsourcing industry on the Philippines had steadily grown because of the growth and success of other industries in the Philippines, such as the IT industry. However, the main contributor to the growth of the outsourcing industry in the Philippines is the industry of call center.

According to many industry experts, the call center industry in the Philippines was considered as one of the fastest-growing industries in the Philippines, even before the growth of the IT industry in the Philippines. And today, the call center industry of the Philippines is known now as one of the largest industry in the Philippines.

However, the industry had grown when a number of third-party companies have expanded to offer live answering services for their clients, such as customer care and technical support.
