When you go through a break-up of a close, intimate relationship it can tear out your heart and wreck your emotional and financial life. What if your ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend goes so far as to refusing to discuss your relationship? We all need break-up advice at one time or another.
The trouble is when all of this is happening, sometimes your actions, words and feelings are not the best. You are not at your best because you are upset, and perhaps not feeling like yourself at all. Perhaps you are even wondering who are are, anymore?
The problem is the more you talk to her, probably the worse the sitation will become because you wind up appearing desperate and she winds up wishing you would stop calling her and annoying her. That is the way women respond to needy men when they breakup, especially when the relationship is rocky. Your girlfriend needs some breathing room and some thinking time alone and she can't do it when you are constantly bombarding her with phone calls that usually end in anger or hanging up on each other.
You must force yourself to take a step back and leave her alone. You must get yourself back on track and become the person again that attracted her to you. Think about it. Who were you when you first met before the breakup? What did you act like? What qualities can you again let shine to attract your ex-girlfriend to make her want to come back to you? Reminding her with words of how great you are and what she is missing is the very last thing she wants to hear and it won't work, because she is angry and all she can see are your faults.
If you are making demands of any type, especially with a time limit, you are sealing the death deal on your relationship. No one likes to be treated like a business. Instead, you must drum up inside of your broken self what is left of the "good" you and be polite and kind, even if it really hard to do. Don't become a hermit. Get out with your friends and try to enjoy yourself even during the breakup, but not with another female/male if you are truly serious about making up. It will help you keep from getting depressed and give you a new outlook on what is happening with your ex-girlfriend. Talking to your buddies will help, but don't take advice from the ones who have not had successful relationships themselves.
