The young and bubbly designer trained her eye at Victoria's Secret before returning to Chennai, like a homing pigeon, with a critical eye for detail.

Probably the only boutique to open two outlets simultaneously, in Alwarpet and Nungambakkam, Azure is all about casual and unpretentious clothing. Only select pieces are available in each design and the designer seems extra partial to the timeless and dramatic combination of black and white, which has been deftly woven into geometric prints and vibrant colours.

Its' all about systematic interplay of design, colour, texture and fabric for a totally eclectic and electric effect.

The accent is on freshness this summer. Check out the two collections on display: the Garden collection and Moroccan collection. Breezy colours and prints compete with sheer and lightweight fabrics ranging from georgette and cotton to crisp linen.

The skirts, blousons and dresses are utterly feminine with a splash of lace, ribbon and frills while the leggings, tops and capris boast of the latest international trends.

Some come with exposed metallic zippers, faux buttons and conform to international colour charts. Also on display is a range of beaded accessories to complement your dressing.
