Early morninig blues

It is the wee hours of the morning in London town and I'm writing this with one hand. The other is filled with a cranky but very cute niece. She is asleep at last an even though I am suffering from a slight hangover I fear that if I stop swivelling this chair or move my head just an inch from hers she will wake up and start screaming.

I am delighted to report that this since the addition of this little bundle of joy to my clan last summer life has not exactly been smooth but things are starting to run a touch smoother. My niece has brought a lot of joy and at times just watching her can sometimes send me into a trance.

Oprah Winfrey has what she calls Aha moments, it's that time when a light bulb suddenly goes off in your head and something that you have been struggling with or can't figure out suddenly becomes clear.
