DECT Phones - The next wave of communication

DECT is a digital wireless communication technology which is bound to make the use of cordless phones much more common in homes and businesses throughout the globe. 2) WLL or Wireless Loop: In a neighborhood where a common telecommunication service is used the wired local loop can be connected by a cordless phone that exchanges signals with a neighborhood antenna. A wireless local loop can be installed in an area where many users share the same antenna.

3) Home Cordless Phones: Customers may install a single cell antenna anywhere in their home and have a DECT handset in each and every room.

4) Cordless Terminal Mobility: Arrangements used for businesses to set up their cordless PBX systems could also be provided to individual users. This system will provide less mobility than that of a GSM based user.

5) GSM/DECT Internetworking: The DECT standard is able to interact with the GSM standard which allows users to move freely from the outdoors to indoors. This standard provides excellent reception.
