In today’s world, the growing need for knowledge of current affairs is very evident. Staying aware and vigilant is a necessity. There are many ways to prepare for these competitive exams. A regular habit of reading the newspapers helps you stay updated. It is the cheapest and easiest way to stay connected with the outside world. You can also listen to the radio or read quiz books. Internet is also a viable option. It can help you provide with information on any kind of event, business deal, political agreement etc.

Hence, it is very important of be aware of the current affairs India. General knowledge, in any form can be very beneficial to us. However, for students appearing for bank po exams, or IAS exam, gk also holds academic value. General knowledge cover a major portion of their syllabus can help them score well in their exams.
