Cool Deck VS Spray Deck VS Quartzdek

Concrete may be one of the most important inventions of the modern era, serving as the physical foundation of modern civilisation, since it is relatively tough and resistant to the elements and lasts long. Imagine if our metropolises are still built on fragile materials such as bricks and wood.

But concrete on its own still cannot offer the stability, safety and durability that daily human living requires. This is where industrial inventions such as decorative coating products come in. Decorative coating products serve a myriad number of purposes from safely preventing slips and falls due to their slip-resistant properties to projecting an appealing aesthetic to the eye through its various fade-resistant colours.

Cool Deck on the other hand makes the surface resistant to the heat, hence it is commonly used for pool decks which usually becomes too hot for bare feet when the weather is really sunny. It needs additional texturing for traction to prevent slipping.

But this is all there is to the advantages of these 2 coating products as compared to the advantages of Quartzdek, the decorative coating product exclusively developed by Surface MD.

To give color, both Cool Deck and Spray Deck are pigmented, and pigments fade. Because the color fades, if the deck chips or cracks, it cannot be nicely remedied since the repaired section will never match the rest of the deck seamlessly.
