Students studying in Hong Kong will be among those interested to visit the Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2015 in August. The venue for the event is easily reached on the MTR from student accommodation in Hong Kong.

Taking place from 21 to 24 August, the Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2015 is on at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Overlooking Victoria Harbour in Wanchai on Hong Kong Island, the centre is readily accessible from much of the hotels, serviced apartments and student housing in Hong Kong by travelling on the MTR (Mass Transit Railway).

Considered to be among the best public transportation networks in the world, the MTRís extensive network comprises some 150 stations from Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon and Central on Hong Kong Island to Lantau Island and Tsuen Wan in the New Territories.

Campus Hong Kong in Tsuen Wan, a new addition this year to the choice of off-campus student housing in Hong Kong, as an example is a 30 minute ride on the MTR to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

On the 21, 22 and 23 August the event is open from 10 am to 9.30 pm and 24 August from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission is HK$30.

The Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2015 is organized by The Chamber of Hong Kong Computer Industry, a non-profit making professional body serving the IT (Information Technology) industry. It currently has over 500 member companies ranging from retailers to manufacturers in IT, including global leaders and small start-ups.

The primary objective of The Chamber of Hong Kong Computer Industry is to promote the uses of IT in Hong Kong by accelerating the computer culture, education and businesses in local society.
