Cheap DVD's on Price Comparison Site

With the current economic climate as it is, price has become the all important factor. However an online comparison site, Billy Bargain, has come to the fore, when it comes down to value for money. Billy Bargain is an online price comparison website for DVDs, Games, Books and Music products in the UK and it has announced that Amazon UK is the cheapest retailer for online games, DVDs, books and CDs this Christmas.

Billy Bargain compares tens of thousands of products each week from over 45 UK retailers and also offers a very useful price tracking facility so that it's visitors can name a price they'd like to pay for the product rather than paying the current price.

A spokesman for Billy Bargain said "In the period of 1st December to 17th December [the usual online Christmas shopping period] Amazon has consistently appeared top of our price comparisons with over 45% of our visitors finding Amazon cheapest."

He went on to say "Visitors to billybargain.co.uk had a setback in early December with the loss of two of our retailers, Woolworths who's website was taken down due to company closure and Zavvi who are trying to arrange a new supply chain but Amazon have continued to trade strongly and offer cheap dvd's , Games, Books and CDs throughout the Christmas shopping period.
