Many reading this may have heard of how a single penny doubled daily for 30 days will grow to better than ten million dollars. While this level of growth will not be found in the real world, it serves as an excellent example of compound interest, called "the greatest mathematical invention ever" by Albert Einstein.

If the incredible growth of the penny is mind-boggling, consider the mind-numbing fact that basic monetary functions are not regularly taught in the high schools of this country. I mean what could be more fundamental in a capitalistic environment. Failing to provide this type of life-sustaining instruction is akin to allowing someone whose never seen a football to play starting quarterback.

Another ancient principle, maybe older than the rapidly growing penny, states that "it is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness." It was obviously in this spirit that one Mr. Lee Green founded the Black Business Builders Club. This after previously founding the National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA) and the online social network Black Business Space.

Having lit the candle, Mr. Green has nourished the flame and now it's a blazing torch and guiding light for all who seek to be financially free for the long term. Mr. Green is the senior member of the Black Business Builders Club and displays a presence of one just entering his prime.

As a hands-on executive, Mr. Green hosts the Tuesday and Friday night business calls. It was during one such call that the average age of the club began to decrease. The entire sequence of events could have been the script for a story about necessity being the mother of invention.

While he may not be as well known as some other Black "leaders", Mr. Green has been learning and teaching others how to do business for decades. He provides this knowledge in an easy to follow format in his book titled "Black Folks Guide To Making Big Money On The Internet." The book is selling every day online.

While many other activists were seeking celebrity status and recognition by the mainstream, Mr. Green was, most fortunately, taking care of the "business" end of things. He had recognized that it was up to Black-owned businesses to hire, train and advance young Black people and prepare them to be entrepreneurial for a global future. The way things are going, it could be an inter-planetary future.

Mr. Green does not offer anyone a job as a clerk in his store, or cleaning woman for his properties. He offers an "online success university" where the members/students are provided a potent and nourishing environment for the express purpose of learning Internet marketing and how to start and grow their own businesses.

Twenty years ago, several years before our youngest member was even born, there was no such thing as the Black Business Builders Club. But fortunately for Alexandra Washington, Alex to her friends, and the many other young people looking for employment, there is now something available to them that is so powerful that it's manifest destiny is to change countless lives.

The young Ms. Washington attended several call-in sessions and expressed her disappointment and dissatisfaction with the fact that she, at the age of 14, was too young to even flip burgers. A member of the club got the approval of Alex's mom and she became the youngest member - to date - of the red hot Black Business Builders Club.

This event is certainly a positive sign for the future of young Black people. And by proxy, the entire planet.

To say the least, Mr. Green has been a busy man about the business of teaching those economic lessons that our tax dollar-supported government-controlled school system so glaringly neglects. And while it's called the Black Business Builders Club, it is inclusive of anyone and everyone regardless of race or ethnicity. And maybe best of all, the club also allows those under the age of 18 to become members with parental approval.

What a grand thing this is that Mr. Green has created and presented to the world. I only wish I could have joined as a teen-ager and now have possibly thousands of "powerlines" paying me steady monthly installments directly into my PayPal account. Unfortunately the club was not created until 2008, long after my teen years.

But such is not the case for today's young people. Teens from middle school on up, with parental permission, can now take advantage of the best online income opportunity currently available. The Black Business Builders Club is a 2-Up affiliate program, meaning new members pass up their first two membership sales to their qualified sponsor. Then starting with the third sale the new member begins to receive ongoing monthly residual income.

The compensation plan pays over 70% commission to qualified members for each membership sale. While there are a great many multi-level-marketing (MLM) programs available, the Black Business Builders Club is not an MLM program. It is an affiliate program. This is significant because 70% of the $10B that circulates cyberspace daily is generated by affiliate programs.

Given how generally tech-savvy most of today's younger generation is, the potential for creating "life-changing" income while still in high school is nothing less than staggering. If I were the parent of a teen-ager or two, I would definitely invest in my own old age security by getting them involved with the Black Business Builders Club. To not do this is surely a dereliction of parental duty and possibly even a form of child neglect.

PS: About candles... a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle, you get twice as much light and heat.
