Just hang loose and let all your cares float away whiling away the hours fishing. Yessirree...a wonderful way to spend some time. The top of my favorite sports list is fishing, and bass fishing is the ultimate kind of fishing as far as I'm concerned.

How much fun is bass fishing; so exciting and yet so calming for your spirit. Bass fishing makes you think all the time as you relax in the boat and take it easy when the fish are nonresponsive.

There is one thing that is a given when it comes to bass fishing and that is...when folks first try their hand at fishing, they either take to it like they were made for it, or they want absolutely nothing to do with it. It's simply black and white; love it or hate it.

So many facets to bass fishing that you have to learn as you are beginning in the sport. When you battle wits with a largemouth bass fighting like a demon on your line, you cannot describe the fantastic feeling that wells up inside you.

Think about all the times you have been bass fishing and about all the different areas there are in this world of fishing; is there one particular part of the bass fishing world that piques your interest; smallmouth, or largemouth, or striped bass? No one is forcing you to decide on which kind of bass you do like, but most folks have a species of bass that they like to catch.


Not only do you have the different types of bass to choose from, but also the different types of bass fishing like fly fishing over stream fishing.

Not one method over all the others seems to stand out as one wanted by most of the fishermen, except boat fishing. If you are curious as to whether you would like bass fishing from a boat but don't want to go it alone, try joining a group that will take you out fishing in a boat and find out how it suits you.

Learn from and with others is one of the smartest things you can do when you are breaking into bass fishing, and this can be done by starting out with a bass fishing party who can take you under their wing and get you started. Don't be intimidated by the fact that you are a newbie to bass fishing; just join a bass fishing group of folks who will be more than happy to teach you the ropes and your fears will soon evaporate.
