I Resolve To
Member since 02nd March 2007
Occupation: Entrepreneur In 1999, after more than 20 years in journalism, politics and government I made a leap of faith. I pursued a long-held dream of building my own business. You've heard that old saying: do what you love, love what you do. That was my goal and I pursued it with a passion. Eight years later I'm still working hard at my business, which specializes in strategic planning, communications, fundraising, and photography for Members of Congress, Non-Profit Organizations, Associations, and Corporations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. I still love that dream, but I'm always looking for new creative challenges, hence the creation of I Resolve To™ - my resolution business. My dream is to help others to achieve 'their dreams' with successful New Year Resolutions.
The premise and strategy is simple, common sense, and perfect for busy people: I Resolve To . . . Achieve My New Year Resolutions, One Resolution, One Day At A Time For One Year.™ I believe you can succeed in five very specific steps - the Do's: Dare To Dream, Decide, Define, Develop A Plan, and Do It Daily.
I believe you can succeed if you pay close attention to five very specific Don'ts: Procrastinate; Give In To Fear Of Success Or Fear Of Failure; Get Overwhelmed Or Discouraged; Grow Bored, Weary Or Burned Out; Give Up!
My Creed: Make Your Resolution Today! Do it now. Take that first small step. Open your mind, dare to dream, and make a decision to 'go for it'! Proscrastination is your worst enemy and patience is your best friend. Make a promise to yourself. I Resolve To . . . Achieve My New Year Resolutions, One Resolution, One Day At A Time For One Year.™ Make every day New Year's Day. Make every day count! Be A Resolution Revolutionary. Let's 'Go For It'!" Kim M. Simpson, I Resolve To, Inc.
