Occupation: School Nurse
As a school nurse, I was unable to find literature for children or teens on the common genetic disorder of color vision deficiency (CVD) or colorblindness. To fill this need, I wrote Seeing Color: It's My Rainbow, Too for children and Color is in the Eye of the Beholder for teens and adults. These books were written for everyone: just as knowing what challenges are involved in diabetes, for instance, people need to know what challenges are involved in color vision deficiency. I also have written a novel, Dinner for Two, a romantic-comedy-adventure that was published by Echelon Press 12/05. Not surprising, the hero is colorblind! My Web site is: www.cvdbooks.com.
