Hardware requirements:-

The first thing you should look for is the hardware requirements of your computer and TV.The hardware requirements for TV and computer/laptops are listed below:-

Desktop Computer/Laptop:S-Video Port/HDMI Television:RCA Port(RWY)/Component (BGY)/S-Video port/HDMI Latest TV/PLASMA TV/LCD:S-video Port/DVI/HDMI

Cable specifications:-

1.S-Video port:-Before making up a connection,make sure that your PC/Laptop and TV has S-Video port. The S-Video port comes in two forms, one consisting of 4-pin and the other consisting of 7 pins. However the 4 pin connector is the most commonly among several S-Video connector types.But if your laptop or TV has 7- pin connector then it can be used to transmit Both Audio as well as Video Analog Signal. S-video Ports are affordable. Your TV may Transmit Video Signal only if it does not have 7 pins.

2.VGA:- Video Graphics Array(VGA)is a graphics display system for PCs which uses Analog signals. If you have the HDTV then this port's availability is there on TV ,But it gives analog Signal.

3.DVI:- It is a digital interface which is used to convert digital signals to accommodate both analog as well as digital monitors. The ports are available as DVI-A(analog),DVI-D(digital) and DVI-I(analog/digital,)single or dual link. However if you have connection for computer/laptops and TV also then you will have a better digital signal transmission.

4.HDMI:-HDMI will give you the best Audio/Video quality. HDMI ports are Present in latest Computer and Laptops.

After Cable Connection There is a General setting to carry on to your PC/Computers/Laptop. Once connection is done On your Desktop Screen >Right Click>Go to Option Display settings >Select Display 2 Window >Apply >OK. You will see on the selected TV Screen.
