How to Make Money Selling Online
Looking to making money selling online? We are here to help and today we'll look at choosing a product that interests you with our example being new books and used books. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy success in selling online and I am proud to give you example of what to do, what not to do and even some things you might just have to learn on your own. It can be a rewarding sideline or for some of us a full time job, so let's get started. We at www.bidstormer.com are here to help.
For today's article we'll use the example of selling new books or used books. Please remember that is extremely important that whatever you decide to sell that the product it something you are passionate about. In the world of online selling it might be not be a requirement but in my experience it makes the whole process a lot more fun and rewarding. Choose a product that you have experience with maybe even a hobby of yours. Or at the very least I hope you'll choose to sell something you enjoy.
So now it's onto selling used books or new books. Where to begin? Where to find the product? Think of this step as detective work. I have usually found it best to make a list of all of the places I might find these items I want to offer for sale online. In the case of books the list might look like this.
1. Used book stores
2. Gararge and estate sales
3. Church sales
4. Colleges (Text books can be lucrative and running a classified ad in the school paper or their online version is cheap)
5. Books in your own home and those from relatives and friends.
Remember when buying used books or new books to resell that not all are created equal. This is part two of where your detective work comes into play. By simply looking online you'll see which books sell the best and for how much. The current price they are selling for will allow you to know up front which ones you should be spending your money on and just as important how much you should be spending. Don't let the excitement of a new business cause you to forget that basic principle! So with books in hand and sale prices in mind you are ready to become an online seller.
