Using eBay To Increase Your Adsense Traffic

Believe it or not, there are a number of ways that eBay can be used in order to increase your website traffic and Adsense conversions. Whilst this may not seem apparent at first, the site can be used as a valuable marketing tool. In this article I will cover the main two ways to use eBay to take your Adsense websites to the next level.

Firstly, you can never underestimate the power of the 1p ebook. Many people will be drawn to buy a product (i.e. eBook) that only costs a penny, as it offers the least amount of consumer risk possible (barring giving it away for free!). Therefore, it should be easy to attract customers. In order for you to direct them to your website, however, you may need a bit more cunning. There are a number of strategies that could be used, from directing them to your site to get download the eBook (obviously if your website and eBook are related then you have instant targeted traffic). Also, you could try getting the Resale Rights for a profitable niche eBook that you can then brand with your own links. If this is not possible, how about simply adding a ‘Read Me First’ text file to the download package with a link to your website inside. Once again, this is easy, targeted traffic.

How can this be profitable, you may ask! Simply put, you must have an eBay store. This allows you to fully benefit from economies of scale, and therefore lets you list large numbers of products very cheaply indeed. At the moment, the first month of an eBay shops subscription is free, so you have nothing to lose!

The second strategy to use does not involve advertising your site directly on eBay. Instead, this focuses on what you can buy on the auction site. It is entirely possible to buy article submitting software, RSS feed programs and Blog submitters for a fraction of their original price (in some cases less than a dollar). These programs have the potential to double, even triple your traffic in a very short space of time, and could be paid for with a single Adsense click. Simply go and have a browse, you never know what you may find!
