In Europe, Germany probably has more annual festivals than other counties. In almost every village, they have their own summer festival and beer fairs. There is a rich mixture of Christian and pagan festivals merged over ages to fill the all year round calendar.
It is undoubtedly the most popular festival is Oktoberfest in Munich. The Carnival and Christmas are next important to Germany. July - a certainly busy festival month involved celebration of summer fair, beer and wine festivals that opening up in every week. Kinderzeche and Schwormontag are the most favorite folklore events during July. The Bayreuth Opernfest in Wagner and Munich begins its month-long during the late of July.
August - a colorful month to display illumination and fire works in various places.
September - the most famous Oktoberfest take place in this month starts on the second last Saturday. There are many other bacchanalian festivals also in summer, such as Bad Cannstatt's Volksfest.
October - the Winfest in the Rhineland and Freimarkt folk festival in Bermen, along with a number of religious festivals in the Alpine region.
November - a month long Hamberger Dom fair in Humber which attracted great numbers of people.
December - a beautiful month, people busy with shopping, gifts, decoration and Christmas Market, which you are able to purchase all kinds of handmade goods, from toys, leatherwear, to sweets and biscuits.
