Hosting a party is essential in getting to know a new neighborhood. But what kind of party? It's got to be a mojito party, because people dig mojito parties, as in really dig them. Thing is you need to be well prepared if you're looking to host one within the next couple weeks or so.
There is nothing worse than running out of mojitos at a mojitos party you are hosting. But even so, stuff like that happens. To keep those drinks flowing, you need to stock the bar much ahead of time with everything, all the ingredients you need to prepare enough mojitos for your guests. You'll be surprised at how easy it is to run out of ingredients during the party.
Here are a few more guidelines you need to know when hosting a mojito party.
Glasses. A mojito drink in a mojito party deserves to be served in a mojito glass. For indoor parties, frosted mojito glasses are recommended, then acrylic mojito glasses for outdoor parties.
Straws. You need to prepare lots of these. No one's going to use the same straw more than once. Guests also have the habit of throwing away their last straw with each new mojito glass.
Napkins. Same with straws. Stock up on lots and lots of these.
You can spice things up a bit by experimenting with different mojito recipes. Try using dark rums for a more potent drink, or garnish with different fruits for a whole new flavor. The variety of the cocktail no doubt makes
mojito an exciting must-have drink for parties
