First of all, there are many who will tell you that all auto-responders are created equal and that any auto-responder on your webhost's server is just as good as one that is on any other server.

That's not quite true.

When you have an auto-responder on your webhost's server, unless you have a dedicated server, which will cost upwards of $100 plus PER MONTH, then you are limited in how many e-mails you can send per day.

Webhosts cannot afford to have someone tie up there servers sending out e-mails, which is very taxing on their servers. So, for example, on our webhost, I had to first prove that we did not spam people, (which if you do, just stop reading right now, as this article will do you no good), and then I had to pay extra for a dedicated Internet Protocol address, so they could track my mailings.

And, then, I had the right to send out 500 e-mails per hour. And, since my list is over 4,000 people, and I don't want to chance them not getting their e-mails, it takes almost ten full hours to get the e-mails to everyone on the lists.

Now, I don't mind waiting, nor do my people when I'm sending out just regular e-mails.

But, what if time is of the essence?

Then, you have to have an auto-responder on someone else's server who is set up to send out heavy loads o e-mails.

There are some out there that you can send out to as many as 10,000 people for under $10 per month. That's fairly inexpensive to be able to reach your readers.

There are others at there that allow an unlimited amount of readers and lists for around $20, but can go up to hundreds of dollars depending upon what kind of flexibility you want.

But, the question is this: what good does it do to be able to reach your people instantly.
