Many people feel that the problem of hair loss cannot be solved with the help of hair loss treatment products. They often get frustrated after spending too much money on ineffective hair loss remedies and their side effects with no positive results at all. In reality, hair loss treatment can be divided in two categories: Natural hair loss treatments and chemical treatments.
Baldness
There are four basic types of baldness:
The first is the hereditary type which can never be prevented. However, the condition can be postponed to a certain extent by taking proper care of hair.
Homemade hair Masks
Another cause of dry hair could be due to your diet. In order to have healthy skin, hair and nails, you need plenty of good, fatty acids which you can get from foods such as oily fish including salmon and tuna, and flaxseed oil is also good. You can add flaxseed oil to your diet by adding two tablespoons a day to foods such as potatoes or even popcorn! Many people do not like the sound of flaxseed oil but it actually has a nutty, buttery flavor so most people do not actually mind it once they have tried it.
Hard water causes the hair to stand up and makes it harder to wash and it can make the hair tangled and rough. When the hair is tangled, the shampoo and conditioner is often not washed out effectively enough and so that can cause quite a few problems! If you wash in softer water you are no doubt going to have better results as the water does not leave any residue in the hair.
At Home Hair Treatments
Here are some herbal homemade hair treatments and natural home remedies for hair, which have also stood the test of time:
• When your hair looks very stressed, nettles are a wonderful tonic and detox. Infuse dried nettle leaves (some health food stores now carry nettle tea bags) and drink the tea. The infusion can also be used as a hair rinse.
• Home remedy for conditioning your blond hair - To shine and condition blond hair, rinse in chamomile tea. Add one teaspoon of lemon juice to a liter of tea for extra shine.
Actually, most commercial shampoos & scalp treatments are designed to meet people's "sensory" expectations…offering instant gratification and the illusion that they are doing their job. So therein lies the problem. For example adding silicone to conditioner induces an artificial shine but in truth can create problems long term including sensitivities.
The pollutants and harmful toxins in the air and water are not going to go away, so you have to work on a regular basis to maintain a healthy hair and scalp. Use mild natural oils and lotions to constantly rejuvenate the scalp and prevent it from being stripped of the natural goodness that we are all born with.
There are many methods believed to stimulate hair growth and increase natural pigmentation. Applying a mixture of coconut milk along with a pinch of black pepper and fenugreek powder helps in stimulating blood circulation to the scalp, if massaged regularly. Amla (Indian Gooseberry), boiled in coconut oil is believed to be an effective hair tonic.
