2. Clean Your Air Conditioners Filters - Air conditioning filters get dirty quite regularly, and cleaning them is essential to keep your air conditioner running at it's best. So many problems occur from dirty filters especially as some people never clean them. It is a simple thing to do which will give you instant results.

3. Check The External Compressor - Your outdoor unit or your compressor does the majority of the work. If this unit is damage or restricted, your air conditioner will not work. Check around the fans for any obstructions. Look around the unit for any signs of damage or wear. Check to see if the compressor is icing up. Does the compressor look or sound different. 4. Reset The Power - Just like computers, a simple reset can often fix a hvac system. All you need to do is go to the meter box and turn the unit off.
