Flyjumpers 2009 brand new kids model will be available on the internet by the end of june. Kids and teen models are typically made with plastic and foam boot holders and are not available in the USA because of patent issues with poweriser. Air trekkers, powerstrider and flyjumper are all the same jumping stilts made in the same factory in china. These new models have no patent issues in the USA so they will eventually be available for purchase there.
The new model is made primarily from steel with no plastic and looks a lot like the adult models that are available already online at many online stores. They also have the brand new carbon fiber spring like the new aluminum models I wrote about earlier in the year. This new spring has a lot more elasticity and bounces really well once they are worked in.This model is also equipped with the new ski binders and are made for ease of use when taking them on and off more quickly. Many kids are jumping around on the old flyjumpers and this new model is far more superior to the old model so now you have the choice of both kinds. The old model typically sells for two hundred to three hundred dollars and the new ones will likely sell for forty to fifty dollars more depending on where you buy them. There will be no change in the weight sizes they will be available in thirty kilogram or sixty six to eighty six pounds, forty kilogram or eighty seven to one hundred and six pounds, fifty kilogram or one hundred and nine to one hundred and thirty one pounds and sixty kilograms or one hundred and thirty two to one hundred and fifty four pounds. Be sure when you order your child's pair that you weigh them first and buy the correct weight for them ,many people ask if you can buy the next weight up so they can use them for longer and yes you can but don't go up anymore than one size because they wont get the bounce on them and will get bored fast so be sure and buy they right size.
Kids and teens alike love these things and will get years of use out of them they are a relatively new concept in sports and are catching on fast. Don't be concerned about your kids hurting themselves on them as long as you buy the correct safety equipment your them. My daughter loves them and wants to play on them all the time and every kid that sees her on them wants to try them as well and most get on them for the first time and can walk around almost right away and it does not take them long before they are running and bouncing around on them. Parents that want something to do with there kids jumping stilts are great for going for walks in the park and just having fun together. They sure get a lot of attention a many people want to know where they can get them because they are hard to find ,because of patent issues most stores wont touch them so you will have to purchase them online. Have fun !
