Would you want to have some extra spending cash? Naturally you would. We all would. Sadly there are only a few options at our disposal for boosting our budgets in today's tight economy. We are able to pick up a second job ( an ugly option for those already working a 40-50 hour week ). Or we will start slashing our monthly costs.

Sure, you most likely know all the tricks for saving money in today's current automobile insurance system. Drive an automobile with plenty of security features. Spend less time on the roads.

Many things have modified over time. Tons of US people are now existing without a landline house telephone, confining their communications solely to the cellular phone in their pockets. We are driving hybrid fuel efficient machines rather than the gas guzzling clunkers our grandparents drove around. Yet though all this vehicle insurance firms and the services they supply have stayed basically the same.

Isn't it time they caught up with the 21st century like the remainder of us?

The name of today's game is thin, efficient and reasonable, and a pay as you drive car insurance system is all 3. There is no extra fat added on to your coverage because you're not paying your insurance on a day to month basis. You are paying your insurance mile to mile. When you're not driving it doesn't cost a thing to insure your auto, which is exactly what's making this sound so appealing to many drivers.

What would you do with an extra $270 dollars?

Possibilities are good that if you have not heard about pay as you drive insurance you insurance corporation doesn't offer it. Despite the fact that this is not a new concept by any means, and the fact that many of us consider it to be the next revolution in car insurance, there are still many car insurance firms that are pulling their feet about hopping on board. Why? Because they're losing money.

Think about it. Even if it feels like you spend more time in your car than you do out of it these days it's still a pretty safe bet that your automobile allocates more time parked in your drive ( or street, or carpark, or whatever it calls home) than it does out on the highways. You're paying to insure it all that time, implying the meter's running even if the engine ( and the associated risk of accident ) is not.

**Note: Pay as you drive car insurance is currently available in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Arizona and Indiana.
