Baskin Robbins was founded by two men named Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins. Before merging of two venture, Irv Robbins had own venture with 21 flavors and Burt Baskin had own Burt's ice cream. Their 31 flavors of ice cream came to world with idea of marketing of company named Carson-Roberts advertising agency. The first store that adopted the new 31 look was 804 North Glendale Ave. in Glendale, California in March of 1953.
