Which Are The Most Popular Transformers Movie Characters?

1980's animated cartoon ‘Transformers' was brought back to life by Steven Spielberg again in 2007. The success story of the movie is due to its huge fan following. No doubt, it was the untiring effort of the whole team which turned the dream in to a happy reality.

The characters in the movie can be categorised into three different classes i.e. Autobots, Humans, and the Decepticons. The Autobots and Decepticons are robots having rivalry with each others. Autobots are the good robots. Decepticons are the villains. Both Autobots and Decepticons are fighting on Earth, so humans are also included.

Transformers movie characters have gained immense popularity in the masses. Many awards have been awarded to the movie and its cast. As many of the lead characters are the animated versions, many of the actors were only to be heard.

Optimus Prime acts as leader of the Autobots. He is voiced by Peter Cullen in the movie. He transforms into a huge truck. The attire mainly comprised of the traditional red colour as Optimus had a huge red chest in the classic character. Mark Ryan voiced Bumblebee for two or three lines, because its voice processor remained damaged throughout the movie. Bumblebee transforms into a Chevrolet Camaro 2009 model.

Ratchet is the medical autobot who provides medical services. He transforms into a yellow Hummer. Jazz is the lieutenant who transforms into a Pontiac sports car. It is voiced by McCrary. Ironhead transforms into a black Gmc Truck. He is the weapon specialist and is voiced by Robert Foxworth.

The leader of the evil side is the Megatron who came to the Earth thousands of years ago in the search of Allspark in artic. He is voiced by Hugo Waving. Megatron has a very forceful voice. Throughout the movie, he had been catching Sam and in the end Sam kills him. Starscream is also one of the most powerful Decepticons. He transforms into an f-22 Raptor. He acts as the Air commander of Megatron. He is voiced by Charlie Adler. Frenzy is a Decepticon who transforms into a mobile phone in order to spy. Frenzy is not the original character of the Transformers but is a modified version of the soundwave. Barricade is a police car. Bonecrusher is voiced by Jim Wood. Blackout transforms into a helicopter.

The human hero of the movie Transformers 2- Revenge of the Fallen is Sam. Witwicky is played by Shia LaBeouf. He buys bumblebee in the start of the movie. Magan Fox is acting as Mikaela Banes who is Sam's crush. She had to gain ten pounds of weight in order to be fit for the role. She appeared to know a lot about the cars in the movie as his father was a car thief.

Army Ranger Captain William Lennox is one of the survivors of the blackout attack on the base. He along with another characters lived in a boot camp for three days in order to learn proper military language. Reggie Simmons is a sector 7 agent which is played by John Turturro.
