Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is an upcoming Hollywood movie directed by Michael Bay and produced executively by Steven Spielberg. It is a science fiction movie with lot of action and thrill. The movie is a sequel of Transformer 2007, and is due to release in UK and USA this summer in the month of June.

Transformers 2007 was a great movie that broke many records of the box office. It was the blockbuster of 2007 and was regarded as Mega movie of the year. The movie grossed a lot more than the expectations and remained on the top in UK and USA top 10-chart movie list for a long time.

Before looking into anything about the movie, the first names, which appear on posters, are of Director, Producer, and Stars of the movie. In case of Transformers 2, there is no doubt on the capabilities of Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg. Let's have a brief look on the cast of the movie and see who is playing who.

Shia LaBeouf is the Hero of the movie. He is playing the role of Sam Witwicky, a teenager studying in the high school. He killed Megatron, the leader of Decepticons in the first movie. The first movie ended with the death of Megatron, and Sam decides to live a normal life. After the incident, he was overprotected by his parents and also by his Autobot friend Bumblebee. He chooses East Coast College and starts learning astronomy. In the meantime, he starts having mental flashes of Cybertronian symbols and thus comes to know about Energon. The information about Energon is needed by Decepticons for which they get after Sam.

Megan Fox is the main character of the movie along with Shia. This role is played by Mikaela Banes. She is Sam's girlfriend. She is not able to continue her studies because she could not afford it, so she started a job at a workshop as a motorcycle repair worker.

Captain William Lennox is a US Army Ranger and an ally of Autobots in the movie. This role is played by Josh Duhamel. Another Army Personnel is Tyrese Gibson who is playing Robert Epps. He gets promoted to the rank of master Sergeant because of his excellent services.

The character of Reggie Simmons is played by John Turturro. In the first movie, he played the role of an agent of Sector 7 unit. His duties included monitoring Transformers' activity on earth. In Transformers 2, his mother is running some restaurant and he is working there. Matthew Marsden plays the character of Graham, a member of UK Special forces. The character of Sam's Roommate is played by Ramon Rodriguez. He escorts Sam and Mikaela to Egypt. Ron and Judy Witwicky are the parents of Sam. These characters are played by Kevin Dunn and Jule White respectively.

There are lot of other characters in the movie but in the shape of robots and machines. Peter Cullen, Hugo Weaving, Mark Ryan, Charlie Adler, Frank Welker, and Tom Kenny are some of the voices behind these robots.
