Probably just about anyone who loves dogs will have a weak spot for puppies. They are so cute and adorable that you just can't resist them. But as cute as they are, it is still important to ensure that they go through proper training.
Let us not forget the fact that no matter how cute a puppy is, you are probably not going to be very happy if your puppy poops on your expensive carpet or chew on your branded shoes.
That is why it is so important to start training your puppy as soon as possible. If you don't start training your puppy from young, it is only going to create even more headaches for you when it grows up into an adult dog.
Training your puppy early is even more important for certain breed of dog. For example, if your puppy is a Great Dane pup, then it is absolutely crucial that you train him not to jump on you.
A Great Dane pup jumping on you is probably not going to cause you too much problem at this point in time. But imagine when a fully grown Great Dane jumps on you. It is really hard to imagine the consequences.
Another reason why you should start training your puppy now is due to the fact that dogs are also creatures of habits, just like human beings. If you do not teach your puppy what a desirable behavior is, soon or later, it is going to pick up a lot of bad habits. And we know it is not easy to get rid of bad habits.
