We are all making cutbacks due to the financial crunch. A smart way to go in order to keep your employees and members identifiable while keeping your spending down are reusable name tags.
Offering blank name tags and tags with your company logo are a sure fire way to keep your costs down while still providing a friendlier customer service atmosphere.
Name tags break down the initial barrier of putting a name to the face, making people and members more approachable and identifiable.
There are two options when it comes to reusable badges.
The first being the blank name tag. While these tags are not as eye popping as others, they do allow
for your own application whether it be on a clear label, colored label or the old fashioned marker (permanent or dry erase). You can turn a blank tag into an eye catcher with a color printer and your standard label maker software. Just print your own logo and name/title.
These of course are just alternatives to spending $5-$10 per tag. Also keep in mind, blank name tags come in a variety of color materials and can be used over and over again. Of course, unless employee x walks out the door and keeps there tag. Some things we just can't avoid.
Your second option is having your company or club logo applied to the tag and you handle the names and titles. A step up from the blank name tag, these still allow you to apply a name and be able to remove the name when its time to hire a new face. Once again you have the option to use a clear label or colored label. Also a permanent or dry erase marker can be used. Inherently, the dry erase marker may need a piece of tape to secure the name for a bit. When you are not too concerned about reusing the tag we recommend the permanent marker. Writing a name on a tag seems a little rough, however, in some instances it's just what is needed. An onsite club meeting where the member's names aren't known until the event or the pizza parlor that just wants something simple.
