• Failing to file rate tariffs with Consumer Affairs; and

• Failing to adjudicate consumer claims in a timely manner.

The state is trying to support the consumers by penalizing every measure taken by New Jersey Transportation companies that may be troublesome for the consumers or may not be a right practice, just to ensure complete security to all consumers.

If any mover is caught staking the valuable possessions of consumers or caught depriving the consumers from their rights, will be reprimanded on the grounds of severe transgression.

The New Jersey Transportation companies should have valid license and insurance to proffer secured moving services to consumers. The state is striving towards promulgating fair and justified service to consumers that will be absolutely impartial for both the parties.

The massive derogation in the service quality of the New Jersey Transportation companies had infused a dense fear in the heart of the dwellers in New Jersey; hence the State has framed ways to counteract the critical situation. The movers have to follow the compliance and guidelines set by the State in favor of consumers to protect them and their property from possible damage.
