The entire year is the best season to travel: However there are times when it is easier to plan a vacation. There are other times when it is more difficult because so many people want to take a vacation.
Travel seasons are not decided by weather. They are distinguished by how many travelers go to a specific destination at a specific time of year.
1. Low season means that relatively few visitors are expected at that time of year. Many seasoned tourists would rather travel during low season because the place is less crowded, and prices are lower. Tourists also enjoy the authenticity of international travel destinations when the place is not so overcrowded.
2. High season is when many visitors can be expected. In popular places during high season, there is an increase in activity, hotels are completely booked, prices go up, and streets are filled with tourists. Most visitors, who take trips during high season, do so for one or two reasons. They seek good weather, or it is the only time they can get away from work.
3. Peak season is much like a high season. Different destinations have different periods when large multitude of tourists visit. These peak seasons usually happen around a holiday or special event peculiar to that place. For example, while the winter holidays and New Years are peak seasons all around the world, the Superbowl is a peak season for one city in the U.S. where people come to see a football game.

The question is not what is the best time to travel? All year is good for taking a trip, depending on what one wants.
Low season travelers like the calmness and the lower prices. High season travelers travel to get away from routine. And peak season travelers usually have a specific holiday or event in mind.
The question is: What Season has the best International Travel Deals?
On the whole, one can find very good travel deals in low season, especially if one is interested in good hotels for cheap.
High season also has possibilities. Few travel agents run special travel packages in high season. Ordinarily one can find these packages advertised three to six months before the high season commences. Many travelers economize by going on heavily discounted travel packages. These include small group tours, large group tours, theme park packages (Disney, for example.), and air, hotel, and car packages.
Believe it or not, one can even get international travel deals in peak season. Peak season usually surrounds a holiday or an event, such as New Years or Chanuka.
