Restaurant at the top of the royal Mile near the castle is the Witchery. A fantastically gothic hotel and restaurant, it is renowned as one of the best places to eat in Edinburgh and has had it's fair share of celebrity endorsements.

thai food there is an authentic Family run restaurant just off the royal mile known as the Thai orchid. This is a modern contemporary looking restaurant which will serve you thai meals that are created from fresh with no msg's involved.
