When looking for work, many people are approached by associates or representatives who are looking to expand their organization with other associates. Because individuals are often approached, the general idea may be that sales employment is simple and only requires you to be outgoing, but once a person becomes hired by an organization they realize a lot more goes into this type of work than they initially thought. This positioning requires a person to be conditioned and trained to be a part of that industry. A person can be naturally good at convincing others to purchase products and services, or it can be a skill that they learned how to perfect over time.

Many people who are preparing for sales employment positioning enter a new business with prior knowledge of other products and services and want to come out of the gate making sales. Being encouraged by the potential of your sales can be a wonderful way to motivate you to produce, but many people find that they need further training, when the potential is not enough to analyze their own ability to produce sales.


A person must be willing to be coachable and trainable, to listen to others who have experience in that new business about how to position yourself to make commissions. Although it may be similar from job to job, they all require training and coaching in their own specific environment. Rejecting this training can lead to an individual being unmotivated, unprepared and discouraged.

By seeking out ways to improve your own life, you can help enhance the lives of others through your new confidence and desire to reach a level of wholeness in your life. It creates a feeling of needing to be renewed which can improve your overall quality of life.

A person cannot truly be happy if they only seek to create more money in their life. In order for a person to be whole, they have to increase their knowledge, their health and wellness, and their spirit. Feeding each of these areas will give you a new found confidence and strength that your prospects will pick up easily and it will help to create credibility and trust for you in your sales employment.
