Why has the World Forsaken God

When you turn on your TV, all you see is news of girls being raped by fathers, brutal murders and unthinkable crimes being committed. The world has turned to be like Sodom and Gomorrah in the days of Abraham. The hearts of men have become as cold and hard as a stone. How do you explain how someone, a father can rape his one year old daughter. How is the child going to live with this fact. Somewhere in the world, a child is fighting for her life after being raped, sodomized and left for dead. Parents are left to deal with the fact that the people they trusted their children with have turned into monsters and attacked innocent angels.

The apostle Paul warned against this. He said that due to us turning away from God, he will allow us to be consumed by unnatural desires. This is what the world is experiencing today. If we can only turn back to God and ask him to give us his holiness, he will cleanse us and make us walk in purity. He will teach us to hate what he hates and to love his ways. He will give us a knew spirit that will lead us to righteousness.

This will not happen if we still entertain sin in the church. Today, churches are not as kin to fight sin like in the days of old. People are made to feel comfortable in there different situations. Preachers want to give sermons that do offend anyone. It is no longer seeking Christ but pleasing people. 1Peter 2:20, But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own that you may show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
