Surviving a Tragedy

In the life of a Christian, hardships are very common. But God's power always comes and gets us out of every situation. The Bible says that the afflictions of the righteous are many but God delivers him from them all. When bad things happen to us, what is our reaction? Most of the time we ask God why allow this to happen to us. God's answer is, why not you? Who did you want to go through it? Don't you know that am with you even when things are at their worst?

All of us have gone through very hallowing situations that we thought would totally destroy our lives. God was there with us. Through the tears and devastation he was holding us making sure that we made it through. If you are in a situation where you are asking God where he is, he is saying that he is right there beside you. He will not leave nor forsake you at your greatest time of need.

Whatever you are going through, God has allowed it so that you can be an encouragement to someone else. Your mess right now is someone else's message. A another person somewhere in the world needs to hear your story so that they can know that they too are going to make it through. Don't let the devil steal your joy even in times of a tragedy. Hold on and let the word of God soak your mind and spirit. This way, you will not give up the fight. God cannot allow you to face something bigger than you. He already gave you the strength to face it beforehand.
