You like being stylish. Fashion to you is your confidence incarnate. You smell great and love being good draped in the latest apparel. The smiles from passerby's—the respect and attention—provide a little air under your feet.
And for the most part, you've been able to maintain your unique sense of fashion—wearing just about anything that you wanted to wear—even though you are a little bigger than you'd like to be.
Then low-rise jeans showed up on the scene…
Truth be told, nothing turns men's heads faster than a sexy woman wearing low-rise jeans. We've seen stars from Britney to Beyonce rocking low-rise jeans, and the fashion magazines are full of impossibly thin women lounging around showing off way more of their torso than jeans have ever allowed women do before.
But did you catch the key phrase there?
Impossibly thin.
If you've got so much as an ounce of fat around your waist and hips you're going to be little miss muffin top, always pulling down your shirt to cover the bulges.
Sad to say, low-rise jeans simply are not a style everyone can pull off. You've got to have a flat stomach, and no love handles. And it sucks because they can look good—really good—on the right body.
However, if you have a little around the middle to hold onto, there is still hope for you yet! Let's take a look at what you can do to drop a few pounds and look your best in the hottest style.
1. Drink a lot of water.
Drinking water—especially if you add a lemon—is a great detox method. It flushes out all the waste in your system—resulting in a leaner tummy area. It's recommended to drink about 100 ounces of water a day for weight loss.
2. Take yoga.
Yoga makes you lean and mean, and will give your silhouette a sleeker look. Also, yoga is just plain good for you—body and soul. Don't worry if you're a beginner. Chances are, your local yoga studio or gym will have classes that teach you the basics. And don't worry about getting "Madonna arms" either—none of us has the kind of time necessary to devote to that much yoga.
3. Cut the alcohol.
They don't call it a "beer belly" for nothing! If you've been knocking back the brews with your friends, time to knock it off. At the very least, have a vodka or gin and tonic, and nurse it.
4. Cut down on carbs.
Bread, pasta, chips, fries, and hash browns are on the no-no list if you want to get into those low-rise jeans.
5. Get your heart beating.
What? It's beating right now! (Hopefully!) This is more about getting it really pumping, with some nice cardio work. For the best results, try swimming—it is a great cardio workout, plus the water gives you resistance training.
Believe it or not, there is an
easiest way to lose weight. So easy in fact that anyone can do it.
Sound cliché?

Occupation: Entrepreneur
Cornell Dayne is an entrepreneurial scientist, tea connoisseur, and an all-around “big idea man” who’s devoted to helping others maximize their individual fulfillment by improving the quality of their lives.
Cornell’s love affair with business began at a very young age. Influenced by his grandparents, a barber and a beautician, he saw first hand, through their example, the important role that business plays within a community. After graduating from college in 2002, Cornell reviewed his options and decided to join the Peach Corps. For three years, he communicated his most coveted, fundamental business concepts in French and Wolof, helping women’s groups, government officials, and others in their quest to improve the lives of their countrymen.
By 2005, Cornell returned to the US and stood, once again, at a crossroad. With Peace Corps now an accomplished goal, he decided to take up a new challenge and start on the journey of entrepreneurship. Not sure what to expect, and without a mentor or role model, Cornell dedicated himself to acquiring the knowledge necessary to attain success. He buried himself in the belly of the Internet, reading anything that revealed promise in helping him to achieve his objective.
In the Internet, Cornell discovered boundless potential, low cost, a broad reach, and accessibility. By leveraging a dusty, four-year-old Toshiba laptop and the knowledge of his partners and friends, within a year, he was able to close a series of real estate deals and help conceptualize Japonica Tafe, the Internet’s foremost online tearoom.
Today, he is still hard at work perfecting his craft. With five growing businesses under his belt, Cornell sees tremendous opportunity despite the current consensus of “doom and gloom”. He is a very knowledgeable and reliable guy, well liked, and a great closer. Feel free to contact Cornell anytime. He relishes the opportunity to make a new friend.
