Jorge Sanchez is the founder of the cooking website www.efoodschool.com. Efoodschool is dedicated to professional and amateur food enthusiasts around the globe. Sharing knowledge and unique quality products to enhance our cooking skills for business or pleasure. Jorge traces the formation of his passion for food as a child while his mother cooked, holding him in her arms, he added the herbs and spices to pots of soup in his native Cuba. Years later he is creating and developing food concepts in West Michigan and abroad. He has consulted for companies in Mexico and Central America and several area food services and retail food providers have benefited from his creativity and knowledge. He most recently helped enhance the work environment at Bissell Homecare Inc. He also is supporting D-W Fresh market stores with cooking instruction at the D-W Culinary Classroom. Some notable career mentions for Jorge are the founder of the award winning San Chez A Tapas Bistro. Silver and bronze medals in the International Culinary Olympics, in Frankfurt, Germany, and a childrens cookbook coming out later this year outlining fun ways for children to make healthy food choices so they benefit from a lifetime of optimal health and well-being. Jorges biggest restaurant pet peeve is too much service when you are trying to have a conversation. He says some servers are programmed to pay to much attention.
