The Stolen Horses Band is a great up and coming
country music band in West Michigan. Led by lead singer
David Lyle, they are beginning to build a great reputation in the Grand Rapids Area. Davids style resembles a combination of Dwight Yoakam and Waylon Jennings, who he grew up listening to. Stolen Horses consists of a five piece band which includes drums, vocals, guitar, bass and fiddle. Some notable songs done by Stolen Horses are Chattahoochee by Alan Jackson and Little Sister by Dwight Yoakam. Both these songs fit their band arrangement very well and the band makes it sound very close to the record. They are building a lot of buzz in the Grand Rapids area and are opening up for a lot of great national acts that are coming into town. Some recent bands they have opened for are The Zac Brown Band, Trailer Choir, Drew Davis, and the Johnny Cash Tribute Band. They have done a lot of promotional shows that have been sponsored by the radio station
B93, including most recently at the Bob in Grand Rapids. They are scheduled to play at
The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI for the
Randy Houser Concert which is scheduled to happen on Friday May 22 at 8PM. Being that it is predicted to be a sold out show, it is recommended that you get there as early as possible. B93 is expected to sponsor this particular show. Randy Houser is an up and coming solo country artist that is starting to climb the country charts. The show is only 12 dollars in advance and 10 dollars if you contact Brandy Smith. This would definitely be a great show to go to if you like driving country music.
