In the past ( old school ) Flea market and swap meet vendors were the first small business owners. As the world of business grew and technologies advanced big business, the flea market vendor was left behind. Even today a large percentage of vendors are still depending on their small cultivated customer base. And until now they were stuck in a rut so to speak. They resisted change for two main reasons.

A. what they had was still working.
( If it's not broke don't fix it )

B. It was just to expensive to build a good web site.
And the small one page sites just didn't produce.

Until now the small vendor had no choice but to work harder in order to stay in business. But with the influx of younger vendors picking up the flea market life style, there was also an influx of A new thought process. The younger generation, having been exposed to the advantages of the internet knew there had to be a better way. And now there is. A vendor can get the exposure they need to compete in today's tough market. A small business can now have the advantages of the big mega site with out the expense. By being a searchable part of a new mega site (iamavendor.com), small businessmen can now grow and increase sales much like their large competitors.

What they had was not working in today's tough economic times and this is a great fix to a growing drop in sales. And it is no longer to expensive to be part of a producing web site. Vendors can sign up for free with 5 pages of web exposure or for a small fee have 100 to 200 pages of web exposure in a very simple point and click environment. It is virtually as easy as posting a classified add. Now anyone with minimal computer skills can get the much needed exposure on the internet, they need to compete with the larger companies. They can let potential customers know which flea markets they're set up at and what products are available. Making themselves searchable on the web and promoting their business much like the big companies.
