Training on the other hand does not involve searching and buying every available course material out there detailing how to become an overnight success. It involves purchasing e-books and software that provide a step to step guideline of how to achieve your goals and the yardsticks you required to undertake a personal evaluation to ensure you are on course.

Therefore difference between those who will not make a dime online and others who will make more in one month than a majority of the folks will ever make in their lifetime depends on the their values.

The first value towards changing your fortunes and making money online is conviction. You must have the belief that you are capable of doing whatever it takes to achieve the goals you set when commencing the business. This belief breeds faith which in turn enables you to focus on the big picture as you undertake the daily tasks of building the business. Faith in return yields discipline. Discipline will enable you to keep to your plans and time schedules on course and eliminate destructions. Faith and discipline are instrumental when things do not seem to go right.

Discipline eliminates procrastination. Procrastination is where people know what they want but never get to round to doing it. This is very dangerous and is the number one killers of business ideas and new businesses. It is widely argued that procrastination comes from fear. One form of fear, know as the fear of failure, arises from venturing into the unknown and the doubt in ones ability to effectively undertake the tasks required to ensure success. Another form of fear which is just as dangerous is the fear of success. This is where people actually fear the changes that success would bring into their lives. They know they want to be successful and wealthy and have a lot of money, but internally they stop themselves dead on the tracks and do nothing because they become overwhelmed by the success. So in the end they fail to take action or when they do and see success round the corner, they sabotage it and end up where they begun. This usually occurs to people who were once successful and then fell to the bottom of the food chain.
Another important value one needs in order to change their fortunes is to take responsibility and accountability for the business they are building. The business building responsibility belongs to them since it is their dreams that they are pursuing. Therefore they have to be accountable to themselves for the actions they take for each step of the process. There are several business owners who suffer from the ‘victim mentality syndrome', where they expect other people to be responsible for their success. They therefore blame everyone and everything for not succeeding in their businesses and regularly use the word" if only…."

Passion is another value that is instrumental in building a successful business. Passion is what breeds enthusiasm, interest, desire to achieve in the business. In instances it is called the ‘juice of life', (that which drives you to want to achieve your goals). Passion provides the motivation that enables things to get done. It is that which makes you want to discover all you can about the business and do all that you can to succeed. It does not matter how much knowledge you have on any subject or what a business promises, without passion all is lost.

A final value is honesty. You have to be honest to yourself about your abilities, strengths and weaknesses. You have to honestly evaluate the performance of the business and use the feedback to energize your strategies to ensure success. Feedback is always provided and one should not be afraid to access it and take the appropriate course of action.
