Swiss National Park
Switzerland may have only one National Park, but what a National Park it is. The National Park is stunningly beautiful and has become a haven for wildlife such as eagles, marmots and elks. The Park is highly protective all the flora and fauna with in its boarders, as a result there are a number of strict rules that must be followed when you visit. There are a number of great hiking trails throughout the park offering some great once in a life time views of the Alps.

Château de Chillon
The Château de Chillon is found on the picturesque shore of Lake Geneva. One of the most famous castles in all of Switzerland it is made up of 100 buildings, the oldest of which dates back to the 11th century, and was a form residence of the Savoy nobility.

Matterhorn
The Matterhorn is the most famous and impressive peak in Switzerland. While this challenging peak should only be tackled by experienced climbers the area itself is well worth a visit. The area is great for skiing in the winter and during the summer the green foothills covered in wild flowers makes for great walks and picnics.


The Basel Zoological Gardens
The Zoological Garden in Basel is one of the finest of its kind anywhere in Europe. The beautiful gardens are home to over 6000 animals and 600 different species. Found in the heart of Switzerland's second city the gardens offer a special experience for every visitor.

The Rhine Falls
One of the mightiest river in Europe, the Rhine offers a spectacular sight as it falls down the largest waterfall in Europe. The waterfall is 150m wide and is 23m high with an incredible 700m3 of water thundering over the waterfall each second.

The Rhine Gorge
The Rhine Gorge or ‘Switzerland's Grand Canyon' as it is sometimes known offers some spectacular views. The very best views are found at the bottom of the gorge, either by taking an amazing boat ride down the river or by taking one of the great hiking trails.

Bern
The pretty ancient town of Bern is well worth a visit. The political capital of the country Bern is packed full of fountains, flowers, museums and medieval buildings and was granted a world heritage status. There is plenty in the ancient city to entertain and delight tourists. A Holiday in Switzerland wouldn't be complete with out a trip to see the many other great towns and cities across Switzerland. Many of Switzerland's finest towns and cities date from the medieval period and thankfully many of the original buildings survive to this day, allowing you to walk the ancient streets and see the historic town squares, making history truly come to life.
