If you are a single man, why should you even consider dating a Russian woman?
Not only "why" but, another question that needs to be answered is, "How" do you date her?" You are thousands of miles away from her!
"Dating a Russian woman? Come on now, Dennis, be realistic!", you might be thinking.
Let me say this to you right from the get go. This is exactly what I did. Not only did I date a Russian woman, I dated several Russian women! And of course, they were all thousands of miles – on the other side of the world - away from me!
So I guess that you might say that I am somewhat qualified to maybe at least tell you how I did it and was very successful at it because I ended up with one of these exotic women as my very own beautiful blond Russian bride!
At age 56, and divorced, I discovered the ocean of available women on the Internet who also were looking for a companion. After searching locally, then nationally, I stumbled unto the rest of the world which has even more women, younger too, than who was available for me in the US, and very beautiful and eager to meet an old guy like me!
So my attention focused on foreign internet relationships.
First, I must qualify "dating" to you to make it clear what I mean.
The "dating" which I am referring to is "Internet dating", of course.
Without the use of cyber communication, dating a Russian woman would be very difficult, if not impossible.
Postal Mail
Before electronic mail, one would have to rely on snail mail, that is, the physical transfer of a written document through the international postal system.
Of course, the postal system is very slow, cumbersome and some what unreliable.
There are many Russian women, in the more remote areas of the former USSR, who still rely on the postal mail system because they do not have access to the internet.
Another problem with dating a Russian woman via postal mail is that your letters could very easily get lost in the mail. Even if none of your letters got lost, the time between letters would be a very long wait, about 10 days to 3 weeks one way!
I did use the postal system myself, but it was used in addition to - not a replacement of – email. It was kinda neat and a fun part of some of my dating experience with a few of my Russian women internet dates!
Translation
Translation of the languages is also very necessary with most Russian women that you will meet. To do this electronically is a snap! For most of us English speaking guys, trying to translate and write the Russian language would be impossible.
That would be similar to fixing the tools in your tool box when, instead, you ought to be using the tools to assist you in your task to find your woman!
She will have a difficult time understanding your English and you will almost be imposed with her Russian language because we Americans simply do not make the effort to speak Russian.
We really do not need to survive in the world by relying on the Russian language.
On the other hand, your Russian woman date knows that if she isn't already making an effort to do so, she is going to need to know your language because she is motivated to get a husband and survive in America.
World Wide Web
That brings us to the World Wide Web (www) - the Internet. Today electronic technology has made it possible for most of the human population to communicate with anyone, anywhere in the world.
Even though the concept of the Russian "marriage" agency has been around before the internet, it is so much easier for a Russian woman to find exposure by simply posting her profile with a picture of herself and a short bio and intro of herself and it gets sent around the world very quickly via cyber space.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of such Russian dating web sites with profiles of 100s of thousands of Russian women from all over the former Soviet Union Countries.
As a result, international dating has become easier every year. And as the success stories of these Russian women spread throughout these countries, more Russian women are trying this new and popular form of dating to find a foreign husband.
The advantage to us guys is that we can be entertained for hours simply viewing all the beautiful women on these dating web sites.
If you are patient enough, you can hold out until you meet what you think is the ideal "perfect" Russian Bride for yourself.
It is very easy and so fast to send an electronic letter to any number of these pretty Russian women.
As you feast your eyes on these great looking women, you cannot help to notice their pretty faces and slender bodies.
They love to show off their physical attributes as much as we guys like to look!
Many times you will have a letter back from most of them by the next day! Some may take a day or 2 to get back to you, depending on their access to a PC.
Most Russian women do not have a PC and must rely on what they call the "internet club". This is a small business, where there are several computer stations, which charges by the time spent there at the station writing, reading and translating letters.
