Promoting your website does not have to be hard or expensive. With Google adwords you are in complete control of your cost. Here is all that you need to do. Start off by going to googles adwords website at http://www.adwords.google.com/ and sign up for an adwords account this is totally free to do. Then design your adwords campaign by simply following the prompts. For example lets say that you wanted to sell widgets you would simply go to the adwords website and first off choose if you want the starter edition or standard edition I recommend the starter edition at least at first especially if you are promoting only one product as it is the easiest to set up you can always change to the standard edition later on. Next you select the country that your target customers are located in, as well as the language your customers speak. Then Enter your websites URL so that your customers can find you. Once you have done that then simply design a short add that would grab a persons attention and get them to want to check your widgets web page. Once you have done that choose your key words and you want to make sure that your keywords are words that show up in your website and are applicable to the product that you are selling. Next choose the currency that you will be paying in. WARNING once you have chosen your currency you can not change it so if you use multiple currency's choose well this is very important. Then under future contact I recommend leaving those boxes checked I mean after all we could all use some help from time to time. Then select your advertising budget a word of caution here, do not set one so high that you can not handle it after all it will do you no good to be broke from advertising so really put some thought into this. Last but not least click the continue button and your ad will be created and then you can be up and running.
