A six year old boy son of a labourer fell inside a 57 feet deep pit on Friday at 6.00 pm.the name of boy is PRINCE. This acccident has happened in a village near Krukshetra ,the birth place of Lord Krishna.
The width of the pit is. 12" to15". Digging for installation of water pump was done about one month ago. No cover for this digging was provided.
6.0.p.m Friday
A group of children of the village were playing in the area. Prince did not see the pit due to a rag lying on the pit. He slipped inside the pit. When the child did not reach home. After one hour the shouts were heard .As the news spread in the village like wild fire, every body started collecting near the place of accident. Efforts were being to recover Prince by putting a bag, ropes, etc .But the hole is too narrow to bring out the child.
Police and administration was informed in the evening. They have reached the spot
After the initial inspection the army has been called for help. Closed circuit tv has been
Installed. Some food and water is being given to prince. Oxygen is being given to child. First reports say that the child is ok. He has not suffered any injury.
1The army started the rescue operation at 1.30 p.m .It has been decided to dig a well near the pit. Digging has started .An age old well is being deepened to the required depth . Work is in progress.
Various TV channels started the live telecast of the OPERATION PRINCE. The child had already spent 24 hours in the pit.
