Even though many of us love to play soccer, for the most part we'll never make it to the big time. Keep your head up because you can still show off your cool soccer tricks and moves on the field. Let me be clear though, this should not be your primary objective. Learning some tricks can elevate your game play enabling you to become a better striker.
Nearly every time we turn on a soccer match we are excited by what new move or legendary one a pro uses. I am sure we have all witnessed the 360 spin move by Zidane. Just by looking at this move it would appear to be fairly simple to perform, but don't let that mislead you. When performed right it can be devastating to the opposing team. One other move I am sure you get a kick out of is the Elastico by Ronaldinho. When he first came out with this move it totally blew away defenders and helped rocket him to super star status.
The moral of the story here is that if you take the time to learn these soccer tricks and moves you'll have the upper hand on your opponent's. These moves take a lot of practice to master though. The thing you want to do here is focus on learning them correctly. Here is what I suggest.
The first thing you are going to want to do is categorize the soccer tricks and moves from the easiest to learn to the hardest to learn. As with anything, start with the easier moves and use a step-by-step approach. Be sure to master the more basic moves first. After you have done this, then you can move on to the tougher ticks like the Elastico.
I think we can all agree that practicing with a friend or alone is much different than with a group. Let's face it, your not going to be challenged by anyone when it's just you. The moment game time comes around you'll notice how different it is and the speed involved. You will be hard pressed to find any time to try and figure out a move. With this being said, it is imperative that you have the tricks you want to know master come game time.
To recap, you will want to learn the basic soccer moves before moving on. As you become more and more comfortable you can then step up and learn some more advanced moves. Remember, you will want to get the basics down first. By learning basic moves first you'll be laying the ground work for more difficult moves to come.
As you begin your quest to learn cool soccer tricks and moves you'll need keep a good head about yourself. No one starts off at the pro level, not even Zidane. Remember that mastering these moves takes many years in some cases which is why I stress mastering the basics first. Keep your head up and don't let discouragement eat away at you. By practicing daily, some of the more advanced moves will seem to naturally come to you.
